We invite you to discover Southern France and gain a new perspective… to discover an appreciation for French culture and the simplicity it embraces. The Luberon's abundance of natural elements-including the ochre, limestone, and local flora-will provide inspiration and ignite our creativity during this intimate retreat. We will be in the Provencal light set against the backdrop of the pristine beauty of the area and its people whose daily lives are connected to this terre. Many who visit this part of France come as tourists… we ask that you journey with us as participants and creative guests.

 

Those who join us will be visiting enchanting villages, connecting with local artisans, picnicking, biking, hiking, and creating along the way. Inspiration will be all around you. Your days will be a wondrous blend of creating time, delightful excursions, cultural experiences, culinary discoveries, and time to connect with like-minded women.

 

We will be immersing ourselves in the environment of the Luberon, and participating in foraging in many ways. Raw materials and elements that are in season will direct all of our creating. We will act as explorers during this retreat - identifying aspects of this culture to take home with us: embracing small changes we can make, once home, that will nurture us and allow our creativity to be integral in our lives.

Beth Dillard, a local resident, and Liza Snyder, an artist from the States, look forward to hosting and sharing this experience with you. Other local artists will join us as we experience Provence together. This retreat is an invitation to allow yourself the space and time to discover life in a new way.
